2010 has already seen Jack Daniels Racing boost its sponsorship. With the announcement that DWS Galleria will be a sponsor for the two mideast rounds, things just keep getting better.
DFS signage will be paired with ‘Jack Lives Here’ branding on the two distinctive black Commodores driven by the Kelly brothers, with Jack Daniel’s logos removed from the cars, equipment and team uniforms for the events in the Middle East.
DFS is the world’s leading luxury retailer catering to the travelling public. Founded in 1960, DFS operates more than 200 stores including Abu Dhabi, Hong Kong, Macau, Singapore, Japan, New Zealand, Guam and Hawaii.
The round DFS logo will replace the ‘Old No 7’ logo that usually adorns the bonnet of the two Jack Daniel’s Racing Holden Commodores.
Todd Kelly said that it was great to welcome yet another high profile brand to the team.
“Our new livery looks great, I’m debuting a brand new car in Abu Dhabi and now we are welcoming a new company to our racing program in DFS, so these are certainly exciting times for us,” said Todd Kelly.
“I know that all the drivers and crew members travelling to the Middle East will have plans to do some duty free shopping, so we will definitely be seeking out the DFS store in Abu Dhabi during our trip.”
Todd Kelly will debut a brand new #7 Holden Commodore in Abu Dhabi as the V8 Supercar Championship Series makes its first visit to the spectacular Yas Marina Circuit on February 18-20, before racing at the Bahrain International Circuit one week later.
The team’s familiar Jack Daniel’s Racing livery will return for the first Australian event of the 2010 season at the Clipsal 500 in Adelaide on March 11-14.
